Wildlife Wonders

I really do love the exposure to wild life that we get in our yard. Oh, yes... I have been frustrated by various creature habits (eating my flowers and my garden), but we do take many moments to appreciate the beauty of God's creation.


We have begun a collection of foot prints that we find around...

Plaster of paris poured into a foot print in the mud made an awesome cast of this raccoon print.

Just a few days ago we added a deer print to our collection.
The kids have been fascinated by the cicadas that are around- what an incredible insect to investigate!
We really do practically have a zoo in our backyard. Only better. I guess its all about taking time to notice, enjoy, and appreciate what is right before our very eyes.
