Alone Time

Phil is off to church for a deacon meeting tonight. Evenings like this I picture putting the kids to bed, and snuggling under a blanket with a cup of hot cocoa enjoying some rare alone time. Never plays out that way... usually I end up spending the evening at the sink finishing up the dishes, trying to get that last load of laundry folded, and scurrying around picking up stray toys, etc. Oh, well. In thirty or forty years I will probably be wishing I had something else to do besides sit around by myself with a hot drink. Guess I will choose to enjoy the moment whether it is on my feet or sitting to rest. It is all good when God gives it. :)
