I will tell you what Amazing Man did.
It was two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday. Ten minutes into a nap, Amazing Man suddenly jumped up with an intense look of enlightenment on his face. "I just had a dream and I figured it out", he said. And with that, he was up, and out the back door.
Before the weekend was over he had built a trailer for the riding lawn mower. No purchases necessary. No reading of instructions. All parts needed were scavenged from the depths of the various "shanties" in the back yard. A little hammer here, a little welding there, add a piece of wood, some wheels, some shimmey bobs, and a few high speed trial runs around the back yard and VIOLA!-- ya got your self an Amazing Man Trailer.
We took a ride on the trailer. The whole family jostled up and down the rolling hills of the back yard laughing and admiring our ride. "Don't hit the bunny, Dad!" "Watch out for Mom's peonies, Dad!" "Speed up-- there's the ground hog!!! (oh wait- that was my dream, but we did not hit him...pbthhh!)"
The trailer will be great for yard work, hauling things down to the fire pit for picnics, and "hay rack" rides in the fall...and it all started with a dream come true one Saturday afternoon.
