We were attempting to attract interesting birds to view.
Apparently this squirrel thinks it is worth his trouble to shimmy up the slippery crook and dangle precariously while nibbling through the caged bird feeder.
Gives us all a good giggle when we watch him try to get down in a big hurry!

Squirrels are funny critters! When I was a kid my Grandpa built us a bird feeder out of Plexiglas. A squirrel once got in it, but because it was clear he couldn't figure out how to get out! He kept jumping against the walls until finally he hit the opening, but he'd been jumping so hard that when he found the opening, he went flying out of that bird feeder! ~Emily
