Tales from a two year old

It is amusing to see a little person with big intentions. D walked passed me with her little purse and a large gift bag hanging over her shoulder.
"Bye, Mom." she states in a matter-of-fact tone. "See you in the morning."
"Goodbye. Where are you going?"
"To the Pink Store."
"Hmm. Are you going to be gone all night?"
"Yes."
"What are you going to buy at The Pink Store?"
Slight, thoughtful pause. "Pink stuff."
Of course!

Do you remember when Josiah loaded up a wagon (or something) with "womens feminine products" and you asked him what he was doing? He said playing with the pinks!

that is so, so cute!
i remember going through a phase where every single object in my purse was pink... i think it was 7th grade.
i collected up all the pink pens I could find & bought a mini bottle of pink hand lotion- a pink store would have been my dream come true!
