Matthew 6:5-13
Prayer acknowledges the Lord's sovereignty in our lives.
Job continued to converse with God through his trials. Through all that he went through he kept his sanity. Eventually God did respond/answer him.
God is more concerned with our character development than our circumstances.
Prayer displays my utter dependence on the Lord.
How much Spiritual Impact does your life have??
Your spiritual impact will depend on your conscious dependence on God...which is evidenced in your prayer life.
To downplay the effectiveness of prayer shakes the very foundations of Christianity.
Prayer has been shown to effectively postpone judgement and to hasten blessings.
"Pray with out ceasing"... In the original text this phrase is similar to that used to describe one who has a "hacking cough".
Learn to use your "mindless minutes" in prayer.
