Fall

Today smells like fall...

warm apple with a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves
sweet mowed grass
savory home-made bread

Today feels like fall...
crisp breezes wafting through the open windows- billowing the curtains in such a homey way
snuggles under a light blanket for nap time
reaching for a jacket as you walk out the door

Today tastes like fall...
warm applesauce with cinnamon and brown sugar that melts in your mouth

Today sounds like fall...
leaves rustling in the winds
raindrops falling on the crunchy grass and leaves

Today looks like fall...
flowers in yellows, rusts, and oranges
bushy brown pine cones
piles of apples in beautiful shades of all hues of red
pumpkin artwork on the fridge boast childlike beauty
darkness that sneaks up on you earlier each evening
