In the meantime...

The days continue to pass, and I have not kept up on my little blog... I have zillions of little things I could write about...but school days are busy ones and I just have not sat down long enough to compose.

We are enjoying our school days- D has begun to sing the ABC song, L has almost learned a whole Robert Frost poem, and J and N are loving our history lessons. Over all, we have had a fantastic first week and a half of school.

We've packed up for the weekend and headed to a family reunion out on the hot, windy Kansas prairie lands. It's good to get away even if it is for a fast paced, action packed 3 day trip.

After a month and a half of job search, we are still seeking God's leading and direction for employment. What we thought were open doors have either closed or not opened wide enough for us to walk through. So, trusting that as the Lord's direction elsewhere, we are taking a different path. Amazing Man has decided to apply to substitute teach for the time being- while updating his teaching certificate. This thrills me to the bone! He is a talented teacher, and enjoys working with people. Only two online courses will update him for the classroom. The added bonus is that his part-time evening job offers a fabulous "Earn and Learn" program which will cover the cost of the classes. PTL!

In the meantime, God's provision for our family continues to amaze me. We are praising him for the encouragement He has blessed us with. We are abundantly blessed with "manna" from His hand. The bills are paid, and there are groceries in the pantry. He has seen fit to "give us this day our daily bread". Thank you dear readers, for your support during this journey of ours. My prayer is that you, too, will experience His love as we have... "that you may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be glory forever. Amen." (Eph. 3:17-20)
