Flower gardens weeded...children played outside...bike races... watering the garden...a bit of swinging... some organizing... laundry... meals prepared, enjoyed, and cleaned up.
Tonight, the oven is busy baking up some special requests for the birthday boy. Josiah turns eight tomorrow! He asked for home-made rolls... 
It will be a picnic fare.
We will celebrate with family favorite oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

Wish that boy a wonderful birthday! We will call this evening when g'pa gets home.
