It is "Dress up like a Super-hero" at AWANA tonight. I asked J who he wanted to be. After some thought, he came to me and said he wanted to dress up like Jesus, "Because he is every one's hero- He is the KING!".
Oh, the understanding of a little child!

Wow! That is great! What did you do for a costume? Must have been a fun night!
We used one of "dad's" white t-shirts, and tied it with a dark purple sash. Simple, but perfect. When N came into the room, I asked him to guess what super-hero J was dressed as- his first comment was "an Isrealite?" Guess that ancient history we are studying in school is rubbing off!
