The unique circumstances of this season of our family's life has allowed me to learn to embrace spontaneous moments. Seizing opportunities to form memories as a family when we can has become one of my goals. So we take that impulsive trip to the apple orchard as a family...
or we take a Sunday afternoon to just sit in the back yard as a family doing nothing other than enjoy the company of each other.
Every one tells you that your kids grow up too fast. I'm trying to remember that everyday...and savor the moments.

Ah, Tesa, I can tell you from experience that the only way to remember, when you get 'older', is to keep a journal with each day's travels. I thought I'd never forget, but each day, I find I can't remember so many things.
