Every house should have a chalk board. It is such a great place for spontaneous messages, meaningful scripture verses, math facts to memorize and random scribbles.
Our chalkboard was a treasure found in the attic when we moved into our little house. With a fresh coat of chalkboard paint and white trim, it now hangs near our kitchen table. We do use it for home school, but at other times it just invites lots of creativity.
Sometimes I just cannot bear to erase the cuteness that shows up on that board!

chalkboards have recently captured my heart too, tesa! but i'm sure they're 100x better with kids to write on them. i love the idea of keeping one perfectly handy for little fingers to reach it. what a cute drawing!
What a wonderful idea! Will store this one away for when the space pops up for something like this:)
